Summary:
This course covers elements in compliance with EASA EC 1321/2014
Part-66, Appendix I “Basic Knowledge Requirements”. (except for
modules 1 “Mathematics” and 2 “Physics”)
This basic training is aimed to prepare students to pass full
examinations in basic modules related to the pursued qualification B2.
Description:
The participant will acquire knowledge necessary to perform and
certify maintenance tasks permitted to be carried out as certifying
staff category B1.1 or B2 in accordance with EASA Part-66.A.20.
The course provides general knowledge required for the issuance of a
basic aircraft maintenance license.

Target Group:
· Experienced maintenance staff like technical personnel associated
with line and base maintenance activities

Prerequisite:
· Personnel should have gained first experiences in aircraft maintenance
· Preferably, the trainee is holder of a valid Cat A license
· Student must be able to read, write and communicate at an
understandable level in English or German language.

Examination:
All examinations are in compliance with EASA Part-66 Appendix II
“Basic Examination Standard”. Each basic training module has a pass
mark of 75%. Examinations in modules 7A, 9A and 10 will consist of
multiple choice and essay questions which have to be passed individually.

Course documents and eaxamination sheets will be provided in English
language, course in German language
